KAORI: The Artisan of Candle Magic
Kaori, an accomplished ACA authorized artist from Chiba, has been passionately crafting candles for over 10 years. With a background from Candle.Vida Tokyo School SAP course and certifications including ACA wax coordinator and Level 1 Aromatherapy from AEAJ, her dedication and skill shine through in every creation. Recognized for her artistry, she won first place in the JCAA Flower Division in 2022 and became a finalist in both the Flower and Hand-Kneading Divisions in 2023 and 2024.
From a young age, Kaori found joy in creating and painting, which blossomed into a deeper love when she discovered candles that look like real flowers. This discovery opened up a world of beauty and creativity, drawing her into a community of candle-making enthusiasts. She became enchanted by the myriad of materials and techniques available, finding immense pleasure in the art of candle-making.
